Mashka (mashka.skin) is provided by The Dejima Group Inc. (“Dejima”, “we”, “us”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

Service description

We provide AI-generated skincare insights and product recommendations. This is a prototype and may change or be discontinued without notice.

Not medical advice

The service is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a licensed dermatologist or physician for medical concerns. Use of the service does not create a doctor–patient relationship.

AI limitations

Outputs are generated by AI models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for decisions.

User content

You grant us a non-exclusive license to process images and inputs to operate and improve the service. You represent you have rights to the content you upload.

Acceptable use

No unlawful, harmful, or abusive use; no attempts to disrupt or reverse engineer the service.

Affiliate disclosure

We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases via affiliate links (e.g., Amazon Associates, Sephora, Ulta). Prices and availability are subject to change by merchants.

Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dejima and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid (if any) in the last 3 months.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Dejima harmless from claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of laws. Venue lies in San Francisco County, CA.

Changes

We may modify these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
